Imagine a peaceful green corridor from Kyeemagh to Sandringham that connects our community, provides safer walking and cycling routes, and restores nature and our waterways.

With your support, we can create the Kamay Greenway, a shared pathway that extends from the new green active transport corridor that helps link all the green spaces between Kyeemagh and Sans Souci.

The Kamay Greenway will unify the district and provide an impressive community amenity, completing a safe 16 km walking and cycling 'loop', flowing directly into the shared path along Botany Bay's foreshore from Kyeemagh to Sandringham.

The new F6 Extension Stage 1 shared path from Kyeemagh to Scarborough Ponds opens in 2025 and will end at AS Tanner Reserve in Monterey. We propose to start extending this connection all the way to the Georges River.

We want to regenerate the bushland and parks along the route, protect the local wildlife and improve water quality in the waterways, including fixing flooding and drainage issues.

We have a draft route and are proposing a sensible and non-invasive path that varies in type depending on the landscape, accounting for sensitive natural areas.

The route will pass through AS Tanner Reserve, Leo Smith Reserve, Bona Park, Noel Seiffert Reserve, Equestrian Park, Clareville Reserve, Stan Moses Reserve and Scott Park, running parallel to Bado-Berong Creek.

This is a Peaceful Bayside and Kamay Greenway Working Group joint initiative. We have a clear vision based on similar successful projects brought to life by other councils and the NSW Government. We are seeking state government support.
